SESSION FEES AND REGISTRATION
Before attending the first session at Creative Kindy, a registration form for each child attending must have been completed. You will be invoiced after the first session you attend if you choose to continue for the term.
Term Fees are payable at the beginning of each term.
Casual Fees are payable at the beginning of, or prior to, the requested session.
Fees are neither refundable nor transferable between children or terms.
There is no refund of fees for missed sessions. A maximum of 2 missed sessions can be ‘made-up’ per term. Every effort will be made to make up sessions missed due to hall cancellations or an educator’s absence.
Payments can be made by direct debit to the account details on the invoice sent via email to you. Please identify student’s name in the description of transaction. Cash given to educator prior to commencement of a session is an optional payment method.
Parents or carers are required to supervise their children who are NOT participating in a session, who are waiting for a session to commence or who have completed their session.
Children are NOT to use the equipment unless under the supervision of an educator or as part of an organised session.
Please note that the activities set up at Creative Kindy are for ages 3+. Children, who are not registered as a session participant, wandering around the hall and through activity areas breach our Duty of Care requirements. Unsupervised children pose a safety threat to themselves and to others taking part in activities.
It is the parents or carers responsibility to collect their child(ren) immediately after their session has finished.
WORKING WITH CHILDREN
All educators at Creative Kindy have undergone a “working with children” check. www.bluecard.qld.gov.au
Some activities provided at Creative Kindy sessions can be messy. Please ensure your child is wearing comfortable, unrestrictive clothing which is ok to get messy (eg Paint).
Students may be photographed by Creative Kindy for promotional purposes or for use on our website and/or social media pages. Permission will be sought from Parents/Carers prior to any publication. Please note if you are attending a session recording from mobile/multimedia devices or any photography of anyone other than your own child is strictly prohibited.
FIRST AID / MEDICAL CONDITIONS
A stocked first aid kit is accessible at all sessions. In the event of a medical emergency, if parents are unreachable, it is understood that the educator reserves the right to call for an ambulance service.
It is the parent/carers responsibility to notify educators of any injuries, medical conditions and allergies suffered by your child prior to a session.
FOOD AND DRINKS
Creative Kindy Sessions are timed so that children have morning tea before arriving and lunch after leaving. We ask that you please refrain from eating during session times. If your child must eat, please use the kitchen area provided and wash hands before re-joining us in the activity room. There is a table for all bags, lunchboxes etc. to go on in the kitchen area for your convenience. We appreciate your diligence in this area to help us provide a safe place for children with allergies.
Water bottles, containing only water, can be placed in the designated area in the room for easy access during the session.
Creative Kindy will take no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property.
